If you have ever visited Chimney Rock, you would know why! You could spend a whole day in this state park and then visit Chimney Rock village right outside the gates. The village is made up of unique shops featuring locally made crafts and wood carvings and wonderful local restaurants.

Hendersonville, NC home of the Apple Festival each September is only a 20 minute drive away. Here you will find a quaint downtown for exploring shops and restaurants all day. There are also larger retail stores and a movie theatre as well as a mall in Hendersonville .
